Both offer exceptional drape but differ in opacity and texture; Silk Illusion provides more volume with less weight, while Habotai offers a luminous, liquid-like flow.

2. Can you produce veils in custom lengths, widths, and shapes (e.g., cathedral, elbow, mantilla, blusher), and what are the pattern and cutting capabilities for intricate edges like scalloped or lace-trimmed designs?

Absolutely. We offer full customization in length (from short blushers to cathedral lengths over 3 meters), width, and shape, including mantilla, drop, and oval silhouettes. Our studio employs computer-aided design (CAD) for precision pattern-making and laser cutting technology for flawless, intricate edges (scalloped, picot, or custom lace-inspired patterns). Hand-rolled edges are standard for a clean finish.

We specialize in several secure and elegant attachment methods: French combs or discreet snap clips are hand-stitched with reinforced silk thread directly into multiple points of the veil’s gathering for weight distribution. This bespoke work typically starts at a minimum of 50 pieces per design due to the artisan labor involved and can add 2-3 weeks to the production timeline. We provide detailed mock-ups for approval before work begins.

5. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom silk veils, and how flexible are you with mixing lengths, colors (ivory, white, blush), and styles within an order?

Our standard MOQ is 100 pieces per unique style/design. However, we offer excellent flexibility for our B2B partners. You can mix lengths, colors (from our curated shade range), and even edge styles within that MOQ, provided the base fabric and core design remain consistent. This allows you to build a versatile collection for your clients.

6. How do you manage color consistency, especially for shades like “diamond white” vs. “soft ivory,” and can you match specific color swatches provided by our brand?

Color precision is critical. We maintain a proprietary dye library with over 30 standard bridal shades and offer custom color matching. We can match any physical swatch or Pantone reference you provide, producing a lab dip for your approval before any bulk dyeing begins. This ensures perfect batch-to-batch consistency for your brand.

7. What packaging do you recommend for silk veils to prevent creasing during shipping and to present them luxuriously for retail?

We recommend and provide archival-quality packaging. Each veil is gently folded around acid-free tissue, placed in a breathable cotton muslin bag, and then boxed in a rigid, custom-branded gift box. This prevents permanent creases, protects against moisture, and delivers a premium unboxing experience for the end customer.

8. What is your typical production lead time from order confirmation to shipment, and do you have capacity for rush orders during peak seasons?

Our standard lead time for a new order is 6-8 weeks, which includes fabric sourcing/dyeing, production, and quality control. For trusted partners with repeat orders, we can reduce this to 4-5 weeks.
